Mental Optimism Manifests Itself through Successful Reality

There are many different manifestations of success. Also, success has different implications for different people. This depends on the personal requirement of the person. What do they mean by success? What meaning does it have in their personal and professional lives? Parents might think they have succeeded if they have brought up their children nicely. Sportsmen will call it a success if they get their medals. Doctors succeed when they save a life. Or, a progress in career could be success for someone. Hence, success is not something uniform and quantifiable – it is highly relative of the person whom it is associated with.

 

That is precisely the reason why each and every one of us has to probe into what success means to them in their own way. Success is a deeply personal thing. What is success for me might not be success for you. You must follow your own parameters to define your success, and not walk upon the paths other people have walked to achieve their success.

 

If you refer to the dictionary, you will find success defined as a certain degree of accomplishment or achievement, or as an outcome that has been desired and is deemed favorable.

So, the first thing for you to do is to lay down the variables for what determine favorable and desirable outcomes for you. For each one of us, these variables will be different. We know them better as goals in life. When setting goals, you must make sure that these goals are practicable. They should be based on your own talents and potentials. Then, you can quantify your success by assessing how close you come to achieving those goals.

 

Then we must not forget the power of our innate strength, which philosophers call as the subconscious mind. When we are able to unleash the power of the subconscious mind and use it to the hilt, we are on the way to be truly successful.

 

Reaping the results

 

But how do we go about unleashing the power of our subconscious mind? One of the ways is to understand and accept that there can be nothing called as ‘chance occurrence’ or ‘coincidence’ in human lives. Everything happens as a result of ours or someone else’s actions, and nothing is just simply preordained. If you consider this in its strongest implication, you will come to the conclusion that we are holding the strings of our own lives in our hands. For that reason, our successes and our failures are just ours.

 

We can of course manipulate the occurrences of our lives in such a manner that they become tools to solve our problems. Yes, we have the power to alter the problems in our lives and lead a more comfortable life. We are the only ones privileged with the power to change our own lives.

 

Being Optimistic

But can we do that all the time? The answer is no. There is something known as optimal frequency that applies to the number of times we can bring our lives to get desired results.

 

In order to veer our lives in the direction we want more often, we will have to rely on our optimism. Here is where the concept of belief comes in. If we strongly believe that success will come, it will have more chances of becoming a part of our lives. Anticipating success is a very strong factor in actually bringing success in our lives.

 

The subconscious mind is an abstract concept just like soul is. It collects all the information that it gets throughout the life of the person and keeps changing itself with the information it gets. The subconscious mind will also be a house for negative thoughts and beliefs in this manner. So, if you let the negative thoughts overpower your subconscious mind, then you are actually taking your mind further from success.

 

Set limits for yourself. The limits should be aimed at being successful, and they must be practicable. Then try to evaluate your acts and thoughts. Evaluate what the purpose of everything you are doing is. This will guide you in the right way to walking towards your goal. However, you must remember that change is mandatory too. As impediments come in your path, you might need to change and reassess your limits often.

 

And whatever you do, your subconscious mind is making all efforts to store it.

That is all the more reason why you must have the right kinds of thoughts and beliefs in your mind and must act always in a fruitful manner. Do not worry unduly about one thing – like thinking about money all the time. Do not even demoralize yourself from time to time, thinking how far from your goals you are yet. If you do so, you will not be able to even walk an inch towards the goal. Always think that there are ways and means to achieve that goal. Be optimistic.

 

And this kind of synergy is required just because your subconscious mind is working in the way you channelize your thoughts to it. Bring negative thoughts to it, and it will work negative.

 

Finally, when your goal comes to fruition, you need to take a break and then seek out the pleasure or relishing it. You have achieved your success; reward yourself for it. Here you are starting out a new lease of life – a life you have envisioned for yourself since a long time.
