Does a Chaotic Mental State Contribute To Success?
A mind that is full of chaos will have in it a huge amount of tensions, dejections, uncertainty and even fear and sleeplessness. These are all negative tendencies that stop you from achieving our goals and take us away from our success.
A chaotic mind cannot succeed. The most important ingredients here are peace and a sense of tranquility that can help bring in the positive thoughts.
Managing the Chaotic Mind
Managing and controlling the mind is not an easy task. It is like a kite that is easily swayed by the breeze. Whichever direction the breeze blows in, the kite will go along with it. Similarly, the mind is happy when there are positive outcomes. But if the outcome is less than desirable, the mind becomes sad, brings in negative thoughts and then the unbreakable cycle begins.
Our emotions are deeply seated in our mind. That is the reason why any disturbance in our lives will unseat the emotions and damage the mind. On the better side, these emotions will improve the mind if something good happens. If you are able to get the love of your life, you will be extremely happy, and that will help your mind to progress more.
But we cannot control our emotions most of the time. This is where the emotions get unseated from the mind and pain begins. These are called by negative emotions. The situations in which the emotions play havoc with our normal mindset can be called as chaos.
Chaos is nothing but fluctuations of our moods. When that happens, we are ‘out of our mind’ and more connected with the outer environment. But, when out mind is pacified, we are in control of it and whatever the external environment might be, we remain happy.
Going thus, we are able to build our own mental harmonies. A harmonious mind is happy mind always, which is, by implication, full of positive energies. The contrary to this is the confounded mind, which become instantaneously happy and then instantaneously depressed.
Ways to Overcome
One of the best ways to achieve a balanced mind is meditation. When we meditate, we are training our mind to attract only positive energies and thus remain full of happiness. We are rejecting the chaos state of mind, which is a home for negative thoughts and a very serious impediment in our achievements of goals.
If our minds are chaotic, we will not be able to ever understand what happiness is, and we will not be able to succeed, whatever our circumstances might be. But by meditating, we will learn to be joyous and tranquil and have a perfect synergy between mental balance and happiness. In fact, great people who have mastered this can stay happy even in the most despondent of situations. That is the mental state we must strive to achieve. That is when we will be truly on our way to success in life.
Your Subconscious Mind
Think of the mind like radar. It is sending our signals of your mental emotions within your body. Your subconscious mind is able to grasp whatever the mind sends. If it gets the positive energies, then it can build the raw materials and the resources that are needed for success – positive beliefs, good thoughts and determination of goals.
The subconscious mind is a very important brother to have. It will act on the instructions your mind gives out, and then reinforce them, which will influence your life vastly. But it will turn against you if you feed it with negative thoughts signaling out from your conscious mind.
The key to achieving success is to first set a goal. But this will not work if you are living with a mind full of chaos. If your mind is chaotic, then your subconscious mind will get the wrong kinds of instructions. It will not be able to bring in the factors for you that are necessary for achieving success. Your life will be a failure. We must remove all the negative thoughts from our mind and only fill it with the positive energies we can muster.
We must also affirm our own potential all the time. We must understand the situations we are facing, and then make an affirmation that we can achieve success whatever the situation might be. Your positive thoughts are the best affirmations you might have. Trust and faith in yourself are more kinds of affirming your mind to achieve success.
We must keep our minds focused and never try to let them get infested with negative thoughts. If ever some irrepressible situations occur and our mind is attacked by a negative thought, we must reinforce our positive thoughts so much that the negative thought is repressed. Speaking out our positive thoughts is a very good way of reinforcing what we feel ourselves.
Hence, we must never become slaves of a chaotic mind. It is wise to remove all the anger, frustrations and pain that live inside it and look at the world with optimism. Think about the things that are yet to be achieved rather than about the things we have lost. If we have faith in ourselves, we will become happy once again.
Chaos cannot bring any kind of success in life, material or immaterial. The secret of success is to release the stresses and tensions that live in the mind, release all the debilitating and demoralizing thoughts and create a mental picture of the kinds of lives we want to live. Visualizing a successful state is the first step of achieving it.
